Almost 8800 fans saw Newcastle open the scoring after 73 seconds with Pegg putting the North East team in front. The score remained the same throughout the first period and indeed through until the 37.48 when Smith made it 2-0 and just 23 seconds later it was 3-0 with a goal from Brebant. Storm seemed to have had many more chances that the 16 shots that the scoreboard said in this period. Foster in the Cobras goal kept everything out that Storm could throw at him. The third period finally saw Storm get some reward. The 41st minute saw Brad Turner pull a goal back for Storm and then Mike Morin made it 3-2 in the 47th minute and there was suddenly realisation that it maybe wasn't going to be the first home defeat of the season. With 5 minutes remaining Dale Jago levelled the game and Storm finished the B&H group games at the top. Brad Turner won Man Of The Match. Storm will play Basingstoke or Bracknell in the quarter-finals depending on Tuesday's results. > OTHER B&H WEEKEND RESULTS On Saturday in Group A, Sheffield Steelers and Ayr Scottish Eagles drew 3-3.
