Bracknell took the lead after 12 minutes with Crawford scoring for the Bees. It was 2-0 after 15 minutes with Johnstone scoring the goal. It took just 40 more seconds for Bracknell to take a 3-0 lead. Shane McCosh did the damage and Storm were looking a pretty sorry team at this point. Rick Brebant pulled a goal back after 23 minutes but the comeback did not materialise at this point because Ward scored the fourth goal for Bracknell and McCosh scored again on 36 minutes to give Bees a 5-1 lead at the end of the second period. With 8 minutes remaining, Storm scored three goals in 4 minutes - Kris Miller, Mikael Wiklander and Mike Morin brought the game back to 5-4. Storm couldn't quite get the goal they needed to tie the game. They still head the Superleague table, but only by a point and Ayr have three games in hand. > BISON BEAT DEVILS & PANTHERS DRAW In the Express Cup game on Tuesday night, Basingstoke Bison hosted Cardiff Devils. Bison led 2-0 at the end of the first period. Basingstoke were awarded a penalty shot that Priest duly scored in the second period. Graham made it 4-0 to Basingstoke moments later. Just before the end of the second period, the game suddenly turned round. Cardiff scored three unanswered goals to make the score 4-3 to Bison. The third period saw another Basingstoke goal and Cardiff were beaten 5-3. In the Superleague, Nottingham had the chance to move into second place had they beaten bottom club Newcastle Cobras, but drew 3-3 after overtime. > INTO THE STORM UPDATES Ice Hockey Links - Link amended for Milton Keynes Kings.
