Come on Mr Rabid Bee...just cause you won doesn't mean you can terrorise the Guestbook with bad language. I have not got the Swear-Guard any more but please do not abuse the Guestbook. I have removed all offending entries plus those where people have needlessly submitted multiple entries. I would like to keep this Guestbook open as a place to air your views on Storm and the rest of ice hockey but there has to be some rules. And I'm not just saying that because we're bottom of the league!

Got a bit of a problem, can't get one answer in the Storm competition. Eternal gratitude to whoever can help. Which player was interviewed on the Storm ICEline after the Panthers game on October 20th??? I'm prepared toswap answers. Brilliant game with Cardiff on 27th, I'm off to see the opposition at Sheffield this weekend course they won't be as good as Storm, but got to check 'em out!! Cheers

Attended my first match on 27th Dec - the Cardiff game - shame about the scoreline, but what a great atmosphere, and overall experience! I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to attending as many games as poss in the future..living and working down south presents some problems in getting to games, but whenever I am home in my beloved Manchester, I will not hesitate to go along to offer my support. I was sat right behind the Cardiff Sin-Bin in block 103, with my wife Bev and our friends, Sam and Dave. Each time any of the Cardiff players came in the bin, we all did a Vic Reeves & Bob Mortimer impression with an imaginary Handbag! (sorry - you'll have to watch shooting stars) It was a great laugh. Good luck for 1997, Storm.

Watcha. Long time no....mail? So, you're only one place above us now, AND we've scored more goals than you (a truely abysmal stat!). So you'd better watch out on the 28th cause we're not very happy right now and we want to get back off the bottom. Are you coming down, Mr S&M. I wasn't going to the match but I might make "accomodations" if you are. Cheers, Alex the Rabid Bee

Me and Steph would like to say a few things: 1) Bring Back Stefan Barton, Tim Dempsey, Alan Hough and Nick Crawley; 2)The reason why Storm lose at home games is that they've got hangover from the night before. That's why they were dark glasses; 3)No criticisms to the signings of Nick Poole (Ice God!!!!), Jeff Sebastian. We think they're the best thing since hot water; 4) Get Manchester Storm a coach with a personality and some decent defence (John, we don't need anymore forwards!!!). Finally we liked to say we hope the New Year will bring you some victories and hopefully the win of the Superleague. Who doesn't agree can just get lost!!!!!

Congratulations on beating Blackburn. Must cheer you up, knowing you CAN beat somebody :-)))). As to the front page of Beewitched, I like it because it is probably the only consistent thing about Bracknell this season (well, that and inconsistency). Tonight we finally broke our duck against the Bison, but unfortunately it was the wrong ones! Still, 5-3 against the University of Manitoba is a good result in my book. But is it better than 19-3? Cheers, Alex the Rabid Bee

I think a change every once in a while is Brill. Well done you are doing us STORM fans proud - Keep up the good work !!! Hi STORM fans (and visiting Fans) Is everyone going to the game tomorrow night (Tuesday), not that it will be as exciting as usual, but I don't know about you I was starting to have withdrawral symptoms!!! To all the pompom girls keep on waving those pompoms, I can see you on the other side of the Arena!!! Thanx Si

Other than that, you should be alright. I mean, nobody even notices now when a Squeeler get up and does the Macarana, do they? Mr S&M - do you think we won the Farm Team argument? Is it just me that is getting a bit p'd off about the attitude other team's fans seem to have against ours? If the letters page of Ice Hockey News Review and several of the other ISL team's home pages are to be believed then we're no more than a bunch of intimidating drunken louts who belong at OT or Anfield. Whilst I appreciate that everyone is entitled to their own point of view I can't help but feel that a bit of jealousy is setting in here. We may not have the best team at the moment but we do have the best fans, arena etc. The one thing you can guarantee at the Storm Shelter is a damn good time. Other team's fans would do well to put their own houses in order - Dave Simms, it's over to you!

Hey, I made the grade! I got on to the Manchester Uni's hockey team. The fact that I can't skate didn't even come into it! I felt just a tad small, though, when everybody else met up in the pub. Me and a girl, Liz, only came up to the others bloody chins! Oh well, it'll be a laugh! I even volunteered to go in goal. Well I am mad, gibber gibber! If there are any Students out there who are interested get in touch. I saw some of the Storm's goals on Granada's Sportsnet tonight. Does anybody know why a poor challenge match gets on air but not an ISL match. Is it because you can only win the challenge matches? I must say, conceeding 8 against Blackburn is VERY poor! Finally, does anybody know what narcotics STORMY is using? His control of grammar is very poor. Come to think of it, his control of reality is very poor! Cheers, Alex the Rabid Bee

In regards to John Lawless EDITING the programme, no, no, no. He's a coach. He doesn't let us writers coach the team. However, sometimes we think we could. Of course Mr. Lawless is in big competition with his buddies at Sheffield and HAS to be the best. So of course he wants something snappy about them in the programme. Loved the slam of the cheerleaders when the Steelers first came to Nynex. From afar, I thought, here we go again, and then I saw those handsome cheerleaders.:-) It's a fun rivalry, but don't let the coach edit until he goes to journalism school.

As for your comment that we might have the crowds for now - I am not quite sure what it is that you mean, perhaps sometime in the near future, we will be able to discuss this? But I am glad that you can agree with the point about the video wall and the Arena, but it is the truth!! As for your dig about the team, just watch this space, this season, even this year, I agree we may be struggling, but next year, next season, we will certainly take the rest of you by STORM. (Do any more of you stormys agree) Now will you be prepared to be weathered by the STORM!!! Bye For Now STORMY

Re: Stormys comments on my earlier contribution. PLEASE GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT. 1) I did not say that John Lawless was childish for editing the programme article about the Steelers. What I actually said was that J.L. was right to edit it as the article itself was childish. 2) If you are going to put my name in capital letters please spell it correctly. You are right on a couple of things though, Manchester does have the arena, the videowall and (for the moment) the crowds, unfortunately (for Manchester) you do not yet have the team. But keep watching anyway.

Greetings, Storm fought well yesterday, they had good tactical game and they almost got their second goal in the end of third period. TPS played really sloppy and they did NOT skate like they normally do. Though they were missing their 'best' players because of injuries, but that is not an excuse. All the best to Storm and Storm fans.

We are both new to this ice hockey lark, but are enjoying every minute (almost). Question: how come Kummu was only fined £50 for attempting to murder Hilton Angel Ruggles? Are they only paid peanuts and this represents a large amount of their salary? Question: (going back a bit) are you sure that Brad Rubachuk hit the official in the game v Nottingham Panthers? From Block 114 it certainly looked like a Nottingham jersey that made contact! Suffering from Storm-Live withdrawal symptoms at the moment (Sky Sports / Sky Scottish is OK but you can't beat the real thing) Looking forward to Dec 12 and the next home game. Bye for now, Linda & Alison
