Sure, but John is plenty good enough to play Super League, his popularity was not what kept him in the team last season, it was the way that on more than one occasion he rescued the Storm from absolute humiliation. Raymond was good, sure, but what use is good if he couldn't stay fit ? ( Which is why he played as few games as he did, while John played on, knowing there was no-one to take over if he had a bad night, or if he was so damn tired from playing back to back games that it was all he could do to get out there. ) Don't knock a guy who rarely had an off night, but at least was man enough to admit it when he did
