We were at the game last night. The team I saw
wearing our kit was not the team I expected to
see.
There looked to be little commitment or desire to
win, where as Ayr fought for every 50-50 puck.
We gave up to stupid goals by mistakes made in the
defensive zone. Why does it seem to me that we
struggle to clear the puck effectively.
Well done Ayr, you were the much better team on
the night, and good luck in Sheffield.
I hope that Kurt and the team have got the game
on tape, so they can try and figure out what we
are missing (could it be that we suffer from
an injury problem at the moment).
I think that Hilton's line is a weak link in our
outfit, and that it needs sorting out.
That display last night has put me off going to
Ayr, as I don't fancy going all that way again to
see a team play in second gear all night.
We are better than we showed and we will do better
but I would have loved to go to the final with
OUR TEAM.
We seemed to be in the 'Family Enclosure' while
all the noisey fans were across in blocks R and T,
so this didn't help our evening either.
