Although Manchester were not on their usual form last night, Carson managed to ignore so many slashings/hookings/chargings etc. from the Steelers that I was amazed there were enough of our players to come onto the ice in the last period. We know its gonna be a rough one against Sheffield, but it would be handy if the referee stepped in at some point. I saw Tommo go off holding his arm and Maltais took a stick on his wrist I think. Given the level of injuries in the squad, the new defence man could do with starting a month early!
