I think when they sell tickets you should state whether you are a home fan or an away fan.
They should start at opposite ends of the arena when they sell tickets for each set of fans, that way by the time they get to the middle there will only be a few fans mixed together, but they would be OK, cos they'd have more of their fans to either the left or the right of them.
