Bongo, you're right, the players do (or did last season, who knows what will happen this season?) "disappear upstairs" in the Arches. However, that's to guarantee that they get a bit of peace and quiet, while they have something to eat. Ruby is quite definitely not the only guy who is ever seen again. Once they've finished eating, talking or whatever they do, most of the guys come out into the pub, and chat with the fans. Many's the happy hour I've spent in the Arches, talking to the guys and having a laugh. I'm hoping that that, at least, won't change, under the "watchful eye" of Kurt Kleinendorst. There are rumours that he has insisted on something of a clampdown on off-ice activities, but I have no idea whether or not this is the case. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
