If you want a somewhat official version of the story - I think I can help. Yes, Matt is staying in Tallahasse, but it was a long, hard decision for him. I can assure you he did not use his offer from the Storm as leverage with Tallahassee. He was not even aware of the offer when he signed with Tally. He also DID speak to Kurt (coach) directly, and everything was OK with his decision. He has moved around a lot this season and it is taking a toll on his hockey. So, after talking with his family, he decided it was in his best interest to stay put for the remainder of this season. I know he had really been looking forward to playing over there before the season when things originally did not work out, and hopefully he will be able to get over there for NEXT season.
