Yes, but the Ref was Rowe and he admitted afterwards he didn't see it as Shawn Byram skated in front of him.

IF you watched the Calgary v Chicago game, you may have seen the Marchment hit on Modano. He got 3 games and there has been outrage (according to my Toronto relatives) that Marchment wasn't banned until Modano was back in the Stars lineup (6 weeks).
Beaulieu's hit was *WORSE* as it was DELIBRATE and amazingly he's got nada for it.
If he got nothing for that I believe he should get nowt for his Panthers capers as the hit on Purdie was far more serious.
I heard that the ISL didn't use video as evidence in the Purdie hit, due to pressure from the IHPA.
