I thought the Woody thing was strange. There was no point in keeping Woody down on the ice but the Sheffield Player appeared not to be able to skate free. Was Woody hanging on to his stick? The Linesman was stood over them the whole time and had a good view of what was going on. It was probably 50/50 in the end. Brebant's call was worse. He took a load of stick, looked like he didn't really want a fight and ends up with the same penalty.
I did think the referee tried though. He might have made a few wrong calls but at least he let Sheffield know from the start that he wasn't interested in the game turning into a brawl. Some games, the refs wait until it's too late and by then the players have got too many scores to settle.
