Yes,but it was JL who miscalculated the strength of the league,then when he had the chance to bring in better players,(Ken Hodge being one) he didn't,he just brought in more of the same-lightweights who were talented but had no desire.
THAT has to be down to the man who a-brings 'em in,b-coaches 'em-JL in both cases.
JL for GB coach-yes,grat,I'd go for that because he wouldn't have to do any recruiting.In fact,at the end of last season,I was advocating an 'NHL Style' heirachy for us.The coach coaches and a GM does all the hiring.
