After the Storm v Nottingham game I asked Jamie Leach if Nicky Chinn ate pies or not and Mr Leach said that he ate "pies AND cakes".
Then I got this by e-mail from a Steelers fan referring to the Tim Cranston testimonial last week.....
I remember you phoning the iceline with a chinn pie joke.
Well during the testimonial play was stopped, Dave Simms
called chinn over to the benches where a pie was presented to
him. Simmsy announced "a present for nicky chinn, because
you officially ate all the pies." Chinn, looking far from
impressed, picked up the pie and threw it at the steelers
bench.
