And you've never heard anything like it. The P. A. was totally ineffective that night. You couldn't hear John Hammond at all. Steelers fans had at least two-thirds of the upper teir and they thought they needed a victory to take the league (Cardiff needed to lose as well as it turned out).
It was a BIG game never to be repeated unless we end up playing them for some silverware again.
The lower tier hold approximately 8000 and the corners of the uppertier weren't in use. I think the attendance was correctly counted.
