meeting when this was discussed assures me that the play off groups will be 1,4,6,8 and 2,3,5,7.....
With regard to the 3 game semi final it should be best of 3 in terms of games but I cannot see how this can work given that the first leg is scheduled for Wednesday with game 2 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday. If team "A" won the first 2 games there would be no need for game 3. If it were one game all then the home arena for game 3 would have approx 20 hours notice that the game was on.
Looks like aggregate goals over 3 legs will be the only way.
