SEMI-FINAL FORMAT
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Semi-Finals. These will be based on a cross over format whereby the top team plays the runner up of the other group.
The winner of each group will take home advantage for the first and last game in a 'best of three' series. In the event of the final result being tied, a forth period of the third game will be taken to sudden death.
Provisional dates for the semi-finals are as follows:
Wednesday March 18th, 1998
Saturday March 21st, 1998
Sunday March 22nd, 1998
These dates are subject to ice availability and television broadcasting.
