Very true. Look at our own Bernie - his stats put him about 7th or 8th in the league but I would rate him higher - it's just we have bugger all defence normally (recently has been an aberation :-D And one I hope lasts at least another day :-D). However, I was looking at other things too - in particular the fact that he plays in the UPL. As the ECHL has been the standard of imports for years, and the UPL is well below that, I can only assume he's well below average im[port standard. Plus, he's playing in a low lwague and getting crap stats, which is worse. Of course, this may just show that in a lower league, the teams favour attacking hockey, so he suffers. Mind you, with play-offs coming up all over the world, surely his team would have stopped him leaving if he was that hot?
