The Cobras player was Mulvenna and the initial call was for spearing - The officials took the players off the ice long enough for them to consult with Nico Toeman (I think he's covered more road miles than any other Steelers fan). The initial punishment on Allison was then corrected allowing him to ice against Panthers the following night. Presumably Toeman had a better view than Roe or they consulted the video?
