According to an entry on the Steelers guestbook it is RUMOURED that Channel 5 are bidding against SKY for next seasons rights. Does anybody know anything about this?
If the ISL are seriously trying to promote and raise the profile of the sport in the UK surely they should be trying to get national coverage on BBC or ITV. Channel 5 is hardly renowned for attracting large audiences - I rarely even look what is on Channel 5
A condensed highlights package would surely encourage people to attend a game, This certainly seemed to work with Battles on Ice last season.
