The Guestbook is good if you read it almost every day and so can "follow the story", but it is quite confusing for those people who don't read it that often. The Forum is a bit basic in the layout, but makes it easier to see exactly what is available to read so you can pick and choose rather than trawling through lots of stuff that you aren't interested in. People are still using the Guestbook to leave messages, so you can still use that if you want.
