Surely as the standard of the superleague grows and the speed of games gets quicker, we must see an improvement in the standard of refereeing that we see.
This is a professional sport and yet there are referees like Mike Rowe and Andy Carson who are nowhere near the standard requred to officiate these games.
If the refereeing standard doesn't improve someone is going to get seriously hurt because a referee like Rowe allows the opposition to smack a players head into the Ice during altercations. Allowing this to be punished with only a 2+2 roughing call is ridiculous. Also shouldn't you actually spend 4 minutes in th box if you are given this call.
Cardiffs player only spent 2 minutes in the box.!!!!!!!
