Yeah it wasn't bad for the first time, however Jack Dearden drives me mad at the best of times but particularly when he referred to 'the ball'. For goodness sake how many time do GMR have to use the quiz question "what is the ice hockey eqivalent of a ball?" before it sinks in?!!
I was about to put pen to paper regarding their so far useless coverage of ice hockey on GMR sport it may as well be renamed GMR football. The other morning I heard a trail for the best ice hockey coverage - it really made me mead as in the same week they dropped their hockey from sports update supposedly beacause they couldn't get Lipper on the phone. I did point out to them that there are planty more hockey teams in Greater Manchester that they could have covcered instead - just this once. I think I will have to write and say that it was good even though it drove me mad. Personally I would have appreciated being told which lines were playing , not just...we have another line change, I know that K2 has messed about with the line but It would not have taken much effort just to keep us abreast of some of the personnel changes.
