I usually sit in 109 and have shouted various forms of pleasantaries at the Storm and their opponents. Its not about getting a chant going, people will do what they want, in the way they want. Some of them are funny, some of them (IMHO) are not and are stupid. That is my opinion, by the way.
For instance, when Storm are breaking out of D in a close game, everyone screams at them and the com bined roar knocks spots off any organised chanting.
People can support and do so, they don't have to prove it to anyone, nor join a club or go under a name to do it.
