I'm a designer and have dealt with many print companies in my time
the problem with print errors in programmes and other projects tend
to be caused by a number of things
1. unclear instructions from the writer.(nothing against anybody here)
2. typographic errors when type in text by design company.
3. the more likly cause of our programmes problems is that we one or more proggrames to compile in one week
and this then causes problems with time to proof read articles.
the front covers are alright and if you look at some of the superleagues other programmes such as Newcastle
nottingham and ayr then we are lucky that our programmes have something in them other than pages of adverts that keep the clubs going.
With regard to sheffields programme cover for halloween, it's a bit naf really you would have thought they could come up with something
a little more interesting, maybe we should have mike morin dressed in his grim reaper suit from last years party on the front of ours.
then again torvell and dean are going to be frightening enough.!!!!
