Okay so the guys went down 6-1 and maybe its
the end of our little EHL adventure, but, boy,
what rites of passage!
We can argue the rights and wrongs of our place in
the EHL for ever and a day, but I know the guys
have done us proud. Its only now that anyone can
wear a euro shirt with any credibility.
I'll even admit to a little tear in my eye that
things didn't go further, but everyone would have
settled for this at the start of the season.
Maybe most of Manchester doesn't realise what has
been achieved but memories of those two games I
witnessed at home are going to last a long time.
Bolzano at home is now probably technically
meaningless, but in an emotional way it'll be
very special.
