I was at the game last nite but didn't have a
clear view of the Hunt-Maltais incident. I saw
Hunt pile into Maltais and they both went to ice
with Hunt on top. Hunt got pulled away first by
the stripeys.
What's telling is that Storm haven't launched an
appeal which SUGGESTS that Kleinendorst saw
something happen. However it certainly wasn't
cut.
What doesn't help is fans lobbing s*** at each
other in forums, newsgroups, or mailing lists.
This just raises the expectation of incidents
in the future. I doubt whether Ruby would have
gone with Lascala on Sunday if the crowd hadn't
started chanted 'Ruby' prior to dropping of
gloves.
At the end of the day we want to see some real
hockey. Thats what its all about, or have I got it
all wrong?!
