I spoke to the sports night producer for Tuesday's GMR Sport and she said that they can't cover away games as the facilities are too poor like no phone points nearby. I think my next plan is going to be to get Radio Sheffield to tell GMR how to cover the games. No one can complain at Radio Sheffield's coverage - and they do away coverage as well as home in midweek. Also, GMR's Sunday night programme will soon be over as the cricket has nearly finished and there is only 1 sunday night rugby league to go. They are NOT going to keep the programme going just for Storm so something must be done fast! I might get a petition at one of the games coming up (say cardiff) getting all the fans to sign: I want away Storm coverage on GMR. Surely they couldn't ignore that!! If you want to tell GMR individually then phone 0161 200 2000 and ask for Karen Hannah - she MAKES those decisions!!!
