Nedved did not have a great season last year which is why his demand of 19 million for 5 years is beyond belief. He only made 2 million last year so this would be a really great deal for him. It would be fairly easy to replace him with some one better, younger and cheaper. As far as St.Louis and New York are concerned, these teams make more money and can spend more money. The money is either going to the owners or the players because the market dictates what we, the consumers, will pay. The fans are paying the price of the tickets so they must want this as well.
