Pity the poor fans if the game really takes off big in the States. Tickets there are already silly money.. fifteen quid for the nosebleeds in some arenas. The owners may have miscalculated though..the fan base for baseball is way down since the players' strike and there is plenty of grumbling about salaries. I think we should all go on strike. I am having a little strike of my own..the Flames are closing 1 000 of their cheap seats to encourage sales of dearer ones,so I'm not going at all!! I don't know how long I can hold out though! Nedved had a great season when he played with Jagr and Francis ..well who wouldn't? He didn't look so good when Jagr was out injured for a while. I think New York are still hoping to land someone better..Kariya has been mentioned. St Louis could well be a candidate to trade for him..they have never shied from spending massive great wodges of cash on indifferent players...he might recapture his scoring touch with Turgeon and Hull ( and without his scoring touch there is not much to him). I saw Sparta lost their first game..was he playing?? Storm had better watch out..they will be hated worse than Sheffield if they keep winning like this!!
